An example of the efficient message protocol for industrial LAN

چکیده
The paper presents an example of the message protocol designed for programmable controllers communication in local area network. The design of communication module based on Intel 8344 (RUPI) microcontroller is briefly described, as well as the software support for master and slave nodes and host computers. The communication protocol based upon SDLC standard is implemented starting from the data link level, to the application level, designed to improve the efficiency of information message flow in the network.
